Steak Recipe with Balsamic Mushroom Sauce
Not all steak are made the same. Here in the heartland of the USA, we have a very particular view on how steak should be prepared. I call it the 30 second steak guide. First of all, cast iron griddle is needed and seasoned with olive oil. You get the pan searing hot and you cook your steak with the marinade you desire for 30 seconds on each side. Use tongs to get the edges. If you can see pink, hold it to the pan for another 15 seconds. The result is a savory steak that is medium rare.
