One of my favorite ways to use beef in broth is to open the jar, pour it into a saucepan, thicken the broth with a little corn starch or flour to make a nice gravy, and serve over homemade egg noodles… a quick, delicious meal that makes you wanna slap yo’ Granny!!!! – canning granny

I have never canned meat before, I have always been afraid of messing it up and making my family ill. Well, I have been a silly lady because this last week my girlfriend came over and we canned a 1/4 of a whole cow.

This was not an easy task but she has showed me how to do it. She learned from the tutorial I am sharing with you today!  So I hope that you can get ahead of the game and while you can get beef and the other meats for a good price, can them for later when money may be tight or you want a ready cooked meal in a can!
