Manicotti are very large pasta tubes, usually ridged, that are intended to be stuffed and baked. Traditionally, the filling is ricotta cheese mixed with cooked chopped spinach which may or may not include a ground meat such as veal.
We made this for our date night and it was a success. We both loved it and want to make it again next week. This was a very filling dish which is very comforting. Italian comfort food we could say! Check out this easy recipe and let me know if you make it.
